Outsourcing Staffing Advantage is seeking an Intake Coordinator who serves as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking OPWDD Waiver services, guiding them through the enrollment process from the initial inquiry to successful admission. This role is responsible for handling intake calls and emails, collecting and verifying required documentation, scheduling evaluations, coordinating with internal departments and external agencies, maintaining accurate records, and providing ongoing support and communication throughout the intake process. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, highly organized, customer-focused, and skilled at managing multiple cases while delivering compassionate, professional service. Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for intake calls, emails, and referrals, providing professional support and routing inquiries appropriately. Guide clients through the OPWDD Waiver enrollment process from initial contact to admission. Build relationships with families, advocates, and referral sources while providing ongoing updates throughout the intake process. Collect, verify, and maintain accurate client documentation, including diagnoses, insurance, and demographic information. Coordinate intake appointments, evaluations, referrals, and transfers with internal teams and external agencies. Ensure clients are informed about available services and maintain compliance with OPWDD regulations and documentation standards. Requirements Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written). Excellent phone presence, communication, and professional writing skills. Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-up abilities. Compassionate, patient, and customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and regulatory bodies. Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working remotely while using multiple software systems. Preferred: Experience in intake, case management, customer service, healthcare, or care coordination, with knowledge of OPWDD, HCBS, or Medicaid Waiver programs considered a plus.
