Team Name: Overwatch Job Title: Operations Manager, Overwatch Requisition ID: R027596 Job Description: Position Overview Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an Operations Manager for Overwatch. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the Overwatch franchise partnership with Nexon in Korea. The ideal candidate will have a high sense of ownership, be highly proactive and have strong experience in publishing, operations and project management. Responsibilities • Be a key stakeholder and drive alignment for the planning and execution of our growth strategy for Overwatch in Korea with Blizzard and Nexon. • Oversee live ops execution, operational growth, performance and stability for Overwatch in Korea. • Manage multiple workstreams across live operations, publishing, platform technology to ensure end to end product success and operational stability. • Own and maintain project timelines, deliverables tracking, and cross-team action tracker. • Serve as source of truth for Overwatch Korea publishing roadmap and ensure visibility and alignment among key internal and external stakeholders. • Run the operating cadence to ensure decisions convert into execution. • Own and execute project planning, coordination and prioritization, post-mortem reporting, analysis and feedback. • Create connective tissue across Blizzard’s international organization as well as Nexon’s Korean publishing department to facilitate excellent communication, information feedback loops and rhythm of business reporting. • Maintain centralized coordination and issue logs across Blizzard and Nexon with clear ownership and status. • Proactively anticipate, identify and resolve project roadblocks across internal teams and external partners - ensure follow-up and execution follow-through. • Bridge gaps in communication, information and support as part of a cross-border, cross-functional team. • Support all publishing efforts for Overwatch in Korea including but not limited to strategy, marketing coordination, local events and live services execution. • Job title can be adjusted depending on candidate’s skillset and experience. Requirements • Bachelor degree • Fluent in English and Korean; both written and spoken • A minimum of 5 years of relevant game industry experience • Deep operational and analytical skills, and strong attention to detail. Good presentation skills is a plus • Self-motivated – ability to identify problems, take ownership and drive solutions through execution • Strong interest and experience in Overwatch • Familiar with competitive shooter game landscape in Korea • Experience managing western game publishing in Korea is a plus Your Platform Best known for iconic video game universes including Warcraft®, Overwatch®, Diablo®, and StarCraft®, Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.
