Summary The Operations Manager oversees and directs showroom operations, ensuring standard operating procedures, systems, and tools run smoothly to deliver an exceptional client experience. This role supports sales efforts, drives process efficiencies, and enforces procedural compliance while collaborating with management and sales teams. The Operations Manager reports to the Showroom Director and is responsible for back-of-house functions including inventory control and service department oversight. Responsibilities • Manage employee relations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. • Partner with management to onboard and train new hires on processes and systems. • Perform and oversee opening and closing procedures and schedule security as needed. • Oversee shipping, receiving, cycle counts, inventory control, and reconcile merchandise discrepancies. • Manage the Service Department in coordination with the Repair Manager. • Support floor coverage and client interactions to maintain a welcoming environment. • Collaborate with visual merchandising to maintain brand image and displays. • Promote loss prevention, physical security, cash controls, and inventory management. • Ensure timely processing of mail, checks, invoices, and other operational tasks. • Maintain digital fluency in POS and SAP and provide training as required. Requirements • Previous operations experience in a service-related or retail environment. • High school diploma or college degree. • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable with POS and SAP systems. • Organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to perform opening and closing procedures and maintain schedule flexibility. • Team-focused with a proactive and strategic approach to problem solving.
