Description
AnyDesk is a platform technology company reinventing internet connectivity. This Operations Engineer/Linux Administrator role is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring reliable operation of the company's business infrastructure, including 200+ servers, with a focus on Linux administration, networking, and automation.
What You'll Do
• Maintain all aspects of business infrastructure including hardware, virtual systems, network and operating system components
• Set up servers, websites, and implement security precautions
• Manage domain registration, administration, and certificate management
• Implement service mirroring, fallback scenarios, and service status monitoring
• Manage and support 200+ server infrastructure
• Participate in implementation of new products and systems
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues on an ad hoc basis
• Source and manage vendors to support infrastructure needs
What You Need
• Proficiency in Linux administration, specifically Debian-based systems
• Strong scripting and automation skills with experience in at least one language such as Bash or Python
• Knowledge of at least one Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including database administration tasks like backup, recovery, performance tuning, and schema design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong listening ability, logical reasoning, follow-through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Sense of urgency and ease of working with others

• Strong focus on service quality with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
