COMPANY OVERVIEW Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Credit, Fixed Income & Macro, Convertible & Volatility Arbitrage, Event-Driven, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets, and Quantitative Strategies. ROLE OVERVIEW Verition is seeking a motivated Operations Associate to join its Cash & Position Reconciliation team. The Associate will be responsible for daily cash and position reconciliation across a high volume of transactions, multiple accounts, counterparties, and asset classes, leveraging a suite of internal and third-party systems. You will work closely with Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of breaks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across internal systems, external platforms, and Prime Brokers. • Investigate, analyze, and resolve high-volume reconciliation breaks across multiple platforms and systems. • Escalate and drive timely resolution of outstanding breaks. • Maintain accurate transaction records across internal and third-party systems. • Identify process gaps and partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement solutions. • Respond to queries and ad hoc requests from Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams in a timely manner. REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree required. • 3+ years of operations or financial services experience; exposure to Equities, Credit, Derivatives, and/or Rates a plus. • Experience with DUCO or similar reconciliation tools preferred. • Self-starter with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a high-volume environment. • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Collaborative team player comfortable working across Trading, Technology, and Operations functions. Salary Range $100,000 — $125,000 USD
