Wermelskirchen, Germany Operational Technology (OT) Manager (m/w/d) The Interroll Group is the leading global provider of material-handling solutions. The company was founded in 1959 and has been listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange since 1997. Interroll provides system integrators and OEMs with a wide range of platform-based products and services in these categories: Rollers (conveyor rollers), Drives (motors and drives for conveyor systems), Conveyors & Sorters, as well as Pallet Handling (flow storage systems). Interroll products and solutions are used in express and postal services, e-commerce, airports, the food & beverage industry, fashion, automotive sectors, and many other industries. Among the end users are leading brands such as Amazon, Bosch, Coca-Cola, DHL, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, Siemens, Walmart, and Zalando. What are my responsibilities? • In constant exchange with local IT/OT functions, oversee the installation, configuration and maintenance of manufacturing hardware and software, including PLC, SCADA, HMI and MES systems • Develop, roll-out and take account for a global operational security strategy covering all OT assets in the company’s industrial and production environments • Assess current and new vendors for equipment, software and support services in their ability to build and deliver secure OT applications and systems • Report to governing bodies (e. g. Interroll Security Board) concerning new and emerging cyber threats • Implement uniform OT technology, configurations and protocols to the degree applicable in order to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance security • Create a network of local OT responsibles within the production companies together with MDs/Head of plants • Actively cooperate with central IT functions in the upcoming network segmentation process, increasing OT safety against malware and cyberattacks • Visit plants conducting assessments concerning information security risks related to software, hardware, third-party applications What do I need to qualify for this job? • Master Degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, automation, computer science or comparable • Minimum of 5 years’ of work experience in the field of industrial automation/IT+OT in a manufacturing environment • Deep knowledge of OT relevant frameworks (e.g. industrial control systems, SCADA, etc.) • Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) as well as integrating OT level with MES • Certified professional knowledge concerning cybersecurity frameworks (e. g. IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82 and ISO/IEC 27001) • Min.
