About King University Founded in 1867, King University is a comprehensive Christian university located in Bristol, Tennessee. King is dedicated to providing students with a rich and rigorous academic experience that integrates faith, learning, and service in a close-knit, student-centered community. King University invites applications for a full-time appointment for an Open Rank Professor of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences beginning in January 2027 or August 2027, depending on candidate availability.
