Job Title: Open Rank Faculty, Physical Therapy Department: Physical Therapy (Shelley DiCecco) FLSA: Vereinigte Staaten (Exempt) Location: Suwanee Campus Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Faculty Position Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) – Georgia Campus The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at PCOM–Georgia invites applications for a full-time faculty position. We are seeking a collaborative and innovative educator committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service within a student-centered, whole-person care environment grounded in osteopathic principles. Position Overview The successful candidate will join a dynamic faculty team and contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of a contemporary DPT curriculum. Faculty responsibilities include teaching across the curriculum, engaging in scholarly activity, advising and mentoring students, and participating in program assessment and service at the program, campus, and professional levels. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Teach in assigned areas of expertise within the DPT curriculum • Contribute to curriculum development, implementation, and ongoing assessment • Advise and mentor students, supporting professional development and success • Engage in scholarly activity consistent with program and CAPTE expectations • Participate in program assessment, accreditation processes, and continuous quality improvement • Contribute to service activities at the program, institutional, and professional levels REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • Licensed physical therapist with greater than or equal to 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience • Demonstrated effectiveness in communication, collaboration, and organization EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS: • Terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, or equivalent) strongly preferred • Current or eligibility for physical therapy licensure in the state of Georgia Preferred Qualifications: • Board certification or advanced clinical expertise • Prior teaching experience in a physical therapy education program • Record of scholarly activity or potential for scholarship • Preference will be given to candidates with contemporary expertise in any of the following areas: -Cardiopulmonary -Limb loss/prosthesis -Wound management -Anatomy Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience, education, and the responsibilities of the role. The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
