Classification: Probability and Statistics
We have a vacancy for one PhD position in the Statistics group at the University of Twente, funded by an NWO Open Competition M1 grant.
The project will develop flexible structural causal models in multivariate extremes. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics/ Statistics with substantial experience in mathematical statistics and/ or probability theory.
The University of Twente is located in the city of Enschede, in the east of the Netherlands. Its green campus offers extensive sports, cultural, and recreational facilities. Enschede provides a high quality of life, with excellent cycling infrastructure, good rail connections to destinations across the Netherlands and nearby Germany, and a comparatively low cost of living.
