• OJT - Mechanic, Automotive Tech - RFS/All Programs This is an On the Job Training position available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined. Job Title: Mechanic, Automotive Tech Position Type: Full-Time, Hours not Specified Location: Corpus Christi, Tx Second Chance: No Pay Rate: $22.00 hour Age: 18+ Education: HS/GED Recruiter: B Garza Tasks: • Inspect vehicles for damage and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. • Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices. • Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications. • Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes. • Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors. Job Description: Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul automotive vehicles. Requirements: • Hs/ged required. • Must have 5 years work experience. • Valid driver's license required.
