Description
CO-Energy has an opening for an  Oil & Package Truck Delivery Driver working out of our Boise, Idaho facility. In addition to being a leading distributor of fuels, oils and lubricants for commercial and industrial customer, we also operate several CFN commercial cardlock fueling stations in the Boise area. This position will deliver fuel, oil and lubricant packaged products to customers in our Boise service area. The delivery routes are located within a 150-mile radius of Boise. There are no overnight stays required, driver will be home every night. Depending on customer needs, overtime hours might be occasionally required either by additional daily hours or added weekend shifts. Our Drivers earn a competitive hourly wage with plenty of Overtime available for those who want it. Our Drivers also participate in the CO-Energy Driver Bonus program.  This program provides a generous annual bonus for drivers that work safe and pay attention to the details. Tasks, Duties and Essential Job Functions: • Drive Tanker and Package/Box trucks to deliver products to farm, commercial and construction sites as assigned. Interact with customers in a positive manner, always providing  excellent customer service • Operate trucks with skill and safety at various speeds in normal and difficult driving conditions such as heavy traffic and bad weather • Fill bulk fuel tanks • Work in the warehouse loading/unloading trucks by yourself using a forklift or lifting manually • Read, verify and check order paperwork for accuracy and errors • Work safely following all company and government rules and regulations • Report all petroleum product spills immediately, act quickly to reduce the spill Required Qualifications: • Possess a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements and have the ability to comply with all DOT requirements and qualification for the transporting of hazardous materials • Possess an excellent driving record • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to operate a hose reel and meters Desired Qualifications: • Experience delivering fuel and/or oil products Physical Work Conditions: • Work outdoors in all weather conditions - regularly • Lift and carry hoses, drums, pails cases of fuel and other product that weigh up to 50 lbs - regularly • Climb up and down stairs/short ladders for entering and exiting vehicle and accessing areas of the tanker and box truck - regularly • Sitting for long periods of time while driving - regularly
