The role EnerMech are looking to recruit a Crane Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis to work predominately offshore. Duties and Responisbilities will include; Carry out both routine and planned maintenance and repair activities on but not restricted to the pedestal cranes and associated component parts comprising of but not limited to, power plant, hydraulic system, pneumatic system, winches, sheaves, ropes etc Carry out and document all necessary planned routine and periodic maintenance tasks including spares usage Carry out where trained restricted crane operation, for the purposes of routine maintenance and functional testing Work with independent verification inspectorate in carrying out periodic inspections and load testing Assist as required within the individual abilities the platform maintenance crew on other mechanical plant at the discretion of the offshore installation management Requirements Mechanical Trade Qualification (Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter) Inspection, maintenance and repair of cranes and lifting equipment Hydraulic and mechanical fault finding Wire rope replacement and reeving Brake systems maintenance Crane major inspections and shutdowns Ability to read OEM manuals and engineering drawings Desirable: Dogging or Rigging qualification Offshore crane experience API RP 2D certification BOSIET/TBOSIET OH Crane Mech/Insp
