Office Administrator (Temp-to-Perm) Salary: £16ph-18ph (based on experience) Location: Central London Contract: Temporary (3 months), with a view to permanent Set up: 4 days in office, Fridays from home Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm Start date: Late August / September A dynamic and forward-thinking life sciences firm based in Central London is looking for a proactive Office Administrator to join their friendly, social team on an initial 3-month temporary basis, with a strong view to going permanent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright graduate or business diploma graduate with some office experience, looking to build their career within a fast-paced, sociable environment. The Role Reporting into the team, you'll take ownership of the smooth day-to-day running of the office, supporting across a variety of administrative and communications-based tasks. Key responsibilities include: • Being the first point of contact for incoming phone and email enquires • Ensuring the office is well stocked with snacks, coffee and milk daily • Ordering office supplies • Monitoring IT equipment • Coordinating company-wide meetings, such as company updates and interviews, with guidance from the team • Compiling and circulating the monthly newsletter • Maintaining the shared calendar (annual leave, birthdays, company-wide events) • Tracking birthdays, sending cards and organising leaving gifts • Supporting the social committee • Updating the CRM system and ensuring the team logs their time monthly • Booking dinners, flights and accommodation • Assisting with the coordination of development days and venue bookings • Any other ad hoc duties as required About You • Proactive, quick to learn and happy to get stuck into tasks of all sizes • Personable and not precious - a true team player • A bright graduate or diploma graduate with some office experience • Strong MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal • Full right to work in the UK If you are interested, please apply today.
