Location s : Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath
Contract type: Fixed-term contractor, until end of December 2026
Start date: Immediate
Hours: Flexible, can consider full-time and part-time
Rate of pay: Competitive contractor rates available
About the Role
Spectrum Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our AHP team on a contractor basis across our North Dublin clinic network. This is a fixed-term engagement of one to five months, with scope for an immediate start. The successful candidate will manage allocated adult and/or paediatric referrals delivered in person across one or more of our clinic sites.
Key Responsibilities
Adult Services :
• Completing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
• Assessing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) needs.
• Assessing, prescribing and recommending appropriate assistive equipment.
• Completing seating assessments.
• Preparing Housing Adaptation Grant reports.
• Conducting powered mobility assessments, prescription and user training.
• Completing all associated clinical documentation, reports and recommendations.
Paediatric Services :
• Complete parent and teacher questionnaires, and initial parent consultation for the following clinical pathways: Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD/Dyspraxia) Assessment, Handwriting Assessment, ADL and Sensory Intervention s.
• Produce comprehensive assessment report s .
• Deliver parent feedback and recommendations.
• Deliver services in accordance with professional standards, evidence-based practice and organisational policies.
• Maintain accurate , timely and comprehensive clinical records.
• Contribute to service quality and clinical governance activities as needed .
Essential Criteria
• Qualification in Occupational Therapy recognised by CORU.
• Full, Current CORU registration as an Occupation al Therapist.
• Full, current membership of Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI) .
• Minimum 12 months d emonstrated clinical experience working with paediatric and/or adult populations .
• Experience completing functional assessments and producing high-quality clinical reports.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
• Eligibility to work in Irelan d.
Desirable Criteria
• Full driving licence and own transport (desirable, not essential) .
• Own therapy equipment/resource kit (desirable, not essential)
