Engage Senior Therapy, a proud member of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners , is now hiring a passionate and patient-focused Occupational Therapist at our partner Assisted Living Facilities in Bedford, NH. In this role, you will determine appropriate occupational therapy care and treatment for a geriatric population at a wide range of functional levels.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
Conduct patient evaluations to assess functional abilities, daily living skills, and cognitive performance
Develop and implement individualized care plans focusing on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and other goals that matter to your patients
Lead wellness initiatives and group fitness classes to encourage healthy habits and social engagement among patients
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff to support optimal patient outcomes and quality care
Educate patients and families about strategies to improve independence and better quality of life
Document patient care services in compliance with state and facility standards using EMR
Deliver care at one or more assisted living locations , providing meaningful services to a diverse group of seniors

About You
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
Active or pending state license to practice occupational therapy
Passion for delivering quality, evidence based patient care
Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Experience or interest in geriatrics, with skills in adaptive equipment and ADL training
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
