Part-Time OB/GYN Hospitalist Location: Goodyear, AZ Job Type: Part-Time | 1099 Independent Contractor Schedule: 3–4 Shifts Per Month | 12- or 24-Hour Shifts Available Setting: 100% Inpatient Labor & Delivery Compensation: $170/hour (based on experience and shift length) Practice Hospital-Based OB/GYN—On Your Schedule Looking for a flexible way to stay clinically active without the demands of outpatient practice? We're seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our collaborative inpatient team in Goodyear, Arizona . This part-time opportunity allows you to focus exclusively on hospital-based obstetric and gynecologic care while enjoying a flexible schedule of just 3–4 shifts per month . You'll practice in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery environment with the support of Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, anesthesia, experienced nursing staff, and a multidisciplinary care team—all working together to deliver exceptional outcomes for mothers and babies. You'll manage both routine and high-risk deliveries, perform surgical procedures when indicated, respond to emergency department and inpatient consults, and collaborate closely with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for physicians who enjoy the pace and variety of hospital medicine while maintaining a flexible schedule. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care Evaluate and manage laboring patients, including both routine and high-risk pregnancies Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies Perform emergency surgical procedures as clinically indicated Evaluate inpatient and emergency department consultations Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, nursing staff, and other specialists Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care while promoting patient safety and quality outcomes Compensation & Benefits $170/hour (based on experience and shift length) Malpractice insurance with tail coverage provided Arizona medical license and credentialing reimbursement 1099 Independent Contractor status No employer-sponsored health insurance, PTO, or retirement benefits What We're Looking For We're looking for a physician who is: Confident managing both routine and high-risk obstetric patients Skilled in cesarean delivery and emergency OB/GYN procedures Calm, decisive, and effective in high-acuity clinical settings Collaborative and respectful with multidisciplinary teams Passionate about providing exceptional care for women and newborns Required Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active Arizona medical license or ability to obtain prior to start Preferred Qualifications Previous OB/GYN Hospitalist or Labor & Delivery
