Description
Kia ora, we’re Moshy
We’re a telehealth clinic helping Kiwis achieve better health outcomes through accessible, evidence-based care.
We know the current system doesn’t always meet the needs of modern New Zealanders – and we believe there’s a more flexible, holistic way to support patients.
Our weight management programmes are designed to be simple, discreet, and grounded in real clinical care – meeting people where they’re at, and supporting sustainable, long-term outcomes.
What’s on offer
As a New Zealand-registered PGY4+ doctor , you’ll support patients on their weight management journey through our telehealth platform.
You’ll be working within structured clinical pathways, supported by a broader care team – allowing you to focus on safe, effective patient care without the usual administrative burden.
This role is ideal for doctors who:
• Are looking for flexible, remote work that fits around other commitments
• Enjoy a patient-centred approach, with a strong focus on safety and clinical outcomes
• Want to work alongside an independent medical advisory team
• Are comfortable using digital tools and telehealth models of care
• Value strong clinical governance and operational support
How you’ll work
• Conduct asynchronous and/or telehealth consultations to assess and support patients
• Prescribe and manage treatment plans in line with clinical protocols and best practice
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Collaborate with our broader clinical and support teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and governance
Availability
This role is focused on weekend coverage , with an expectation of:
• 8–10 hours per week , across Saturday and Sunday
• Flexibility in how those hours are split across both days
Role requirements
• General Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
• PGY4+ experience
• Background in general practice or community health
• Current APC and professional indemnity insurance
• Must be based in New Zealand
• Weekend availability
Better, together
We’re committed to building a supportive, collaborative clinical environment — one that prioritises patient safety, continuous improvement, and high-quality care.
