🥗 Role Overview:
Nutritionist – Part-Time or Contract (Remote work available if required)
•
Band 5 qualified UK Nutritionist or a qualified nurse with relevant nutritional experience.
•
Develop and implement nutrition plans and guidance for our customers, aligning with the healthy eating philosophy of Vintage Tea Emporium , Vintage Curry Emporium , and other Emporium branches.
•
Educate and engage with community groups, particularly the elderly, about nutrition and healthy eating habits.
Dietitian Assistant – Full-Time, Onsite
•
Must be part or fully UK qualified Dietitian .
•
We will also consider retired nurses with relevant experience in dietetics.
•
Provide support to the Dietitian and Nutritionist, assisting in the development of dietary plans, healthy eating sessions, and consultations.
•
Assist in organizing and facilitating health-focused community groups within our premises.
📋 Key Responsibilities:
•
Community Engagement: Lead and participate in healthy living workshops, educational sessions, and one-on-one dietary counseling, particularly focused on the elderly community.
•
Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate community events and healthy living workgroups within the Emporium venues.
•
Advisory Role: Provide expert nutritional advice, helping our customers make informed food choices for maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
•
Relationship Building: Foster strong interpersonal relationships within the community, ensuring empathy, patience, and understanding in all interactions.
👤 Ideal Candidate Profile:
For Nutritionist :
•
Band 5 qualified Nutritionist (UK) or qualified nurse with dietary and nutrition experience.
•
Strong understanding of nutrition in relation to healthy living, particularly for the elderly community.
•
Able to work independently and remotely, with a strong initiative and self-motivation.
For Dietitian Assistant :
•
Part or fully qualified UK Dietitian , or retired nurse with relevant dietetic experience.
•
Passionate about promoting health and wellness through food.
•
Comfortable working directly with clients in a professional, caring manner.
•
Skilled in organizing and coordinating group activities related to healthy living.
🏡 Location & Requirements:
•
Applicants must live within East Staffordshire Council or be willing to relocate.
•
Fluent in English at a native level, with excellent communication skills.
•
Ability to establish rapport and build interpersonal relationships, particularly with the elderly community.
•
A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach is essential.
•
UK Driving License preferred.
