Description
A well-established Skilled Nursing Facility in Southeastern Colorado is seeking an experienced and licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead day-to-day operations. ABOUT THE ROLE The NHA will provide strategic and operational leadership across all facility departments, ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and a positive culture for both residents and staff. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on leadership style, strong knowledge of CMS guidelines, and a commitment to serving the long-term care community in rural Colorado. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee all aspects of facility operations including clinical, financial, and administrative functions Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations (CDPHE, CMS) Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and frontline staff Manage budgets, census development, and payer mix optimization Maintain and strengthen relationships with residents, families, and the local community Drive quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness Partner with clinical leadership to ensure resident care standards are met or exceeded QUALIFICATIONS Active Colorado NHA license (or ability to obtain reciprocity) — required Minimum 2+ years of experience as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator Strong working knowledge of CMS regulations, PDPM, and state survey process Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive census growth Experience in rural or community-based SNF settings a plus Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus opportunity Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision Relocation assistance available for the right candidate
