QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE: Level 3 OR higher (QTS) We have an opportunity for Deputy Manager for a nursery setting in Battersea. This particular setting, sets the bar high and is looking for positive and passionate candidates! Salary: • Starting from £34,000 per annum. Hours: • Full time permanent contract, 40 hours/week rota shift pattern. The Deputy Manager Role: • To assist the Manager in managing the nursery ensuring that children, parents and the staff team work together effectively to provide high quality childcare. • Provide a positive role model to ensure that the nursery values are maintained. • Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment. • To be aware of the management of day-to-day operations within the nursery. • To ensure that the nursery consistently meets the requirements set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage to a minimum good standard. • To act as an ambassador for the nursery and maintain a positive image of its aims and objectives. The Candidates: • Level 3 Certificate or higher • A satisfactory enhanced DBS check which confirms suitability to work with children. • Candidates - must have worked within a nursery in a managerial role for at least 12-24 months recently. • Must have strong leadership skills, excellent EYFS knowledge, and a passion for delivering outstanding childcare. • Commitment to diversity and equal opportunities. • Excellent communication skills. • Commitment to young children and families. • Friendly, flexible and positive approach.
