Biography
Jonathan Gutman is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing growth
equity investments at CVS Health® Ventures.
Originally from Princeton, NJ, Jonathan holds a
BA with honors from the University of Chicago. Before joining the
CVS Health Ventures team, he worked at a management consulting firm
where he helped health care providers and payers grow their business
strategically and transition into value-based care. Jonathan started
his career as an investment analyst at a health care-focused hedge
fund.

Dr. Michael Le joins WellBe Senior Medical as President, bringing a wealth of
value-based care clinical experience to the organization. Dr. Le will
continue to grow and scale the care model to establish the standard of care
for the most polychronic, mobility-limited, and high-needs patients across
the nation.
Dr. Le was previously
Chief Medical
Officer of WelbeHealth , the fasted growing
PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly)
o rganization in the
country .

on caring for frail senior patients who are institutionally
qualif ied through intensive
i nterdisciplinary
c are at their
comprehensive care centers . In the span of
a little over
two years, he has helped
WelbeHealth decrease a dmits per t housand by 50 % , while driving
organizational clinical, quality, financial, and
patient satisfaction outcomes .
Prior to Welbe Health , Dr. Le was c o-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Landmark Health,
founded in 2013 to provide 24/7 in-home, physician-led, multidisciplinary
team-supported house calls to the sickest and frailest patients in the comfort of their
homes. Landmark bec a me
the nation’s largest risk-bearing ho me -b ased m edical g roup, growing to over 2 , 500 employees and clinicians, caring for 250,000
full – risk lives across 20 states with $160M in EBIDTA, by the time it was acquired by Optum in 2021 for over $3B .
After transitioning into Optum, Dr. Le became Chief
Medical Officer of Optum Home & Community Care, a newly formed entity which combined Landmark and five other entities to deliver a seamless patient journey with the focus
on providing care where patients desire it most : in the comfort of their homes. This unified platform , created to manage the highest risk patients in place, grew
by 2023 to encompass over 16,000
employees and took full risk on 1 million patients in over 30 states.
Prior to starting Landmark, he served as Chief
Medical Officer at Fidelis SeniorCare . He designed and implemented a new intensive
clinic-based care model for high – acuity d ual – e ligible patients that became a health plan awardee for the Michigan Duals
Demonstration Project.
Before Fidelis, Dr. Le was Senior Medical Officer
at CareMore, where he was a practicing Extensivist in the hospital and skilled nursing
facilities . He also
oversaw all organizational high-risk
programs, including Case Management, High Risk Clinic, Social SWAT Team, Palliative
Car e /Hospice Programs, and the House Calls
Program.
He spent the first ten years of his career as a Hospitalist for
HealthCare
Partners, and became the Regional Lead Hospitalist overseeing inpatient
outcomes in his Southern California Region.
Dr. Le received his Medical Degree from UCLA and
completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los
Angeles. He also completed a
leadership fellowship from the Institute for Physician Leadership at the University of
California, San Francisco. Dr. Le
lives in Irvine, California with his wife, Tita , who
is a n attorney, and their two daughters, Isabella
(1 7 ) and Victoria (1 4 ) .

Jim Reed
James “Jim” Reed is President and Chief Executive Officer of Lifetime Healthcare
Companies, which include Excellus BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS), Univera Healthcare, Lifetime Benefit
Solutions (benefits consulting firm and third-party administration) and MedAmerica (national
long-term care insurance company).
Jim joined Excellus BCBS in January 1996, providing him an opportunity to become educated in
virtually all areas of the organization. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of
Marketing and Sales, and as Regional President in the Central New York region. As President and CEO,
Jim assumes responsibility for the entire operations, including satisfying the mission of the
company and maintaining the corporate culture. Jim also serves on multiple committees and boards in
the regions, including CenterState CEO, ROCH2025, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, and
BlueCross BlueShield Association.

Regina is WellBe’s Regional Market President
for our Illinois, Georgia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Utah
markets. She obtained her RN degree from the Pennsylvania College of
Health Sciences, and an MSN in Executive Leadership. Before joining
WellBe as the Regional Market President, Regina was responsible for
regional operations for four markets across three states at another
value-based care organization. She was also the Chief Clinical Officer
for the Hamilton Health Center.
She is experienced in launching new markets,
building clinical integration teams, and has worked with multiple health
plan partners over the years. Regina is familiar with the geographic
alignment of teams and the effectiveness of scheduling, quality
programs, and metrics.
