The Role As a full-time Driver Health Care Assistant, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes while promoting independence, dignity and respect. Key Responsibilities • Assisting clients with personal and practical care • Supporting independence and social engagement • Maintaining dignity, privacy and respect at all times • Reporting any concerns or changes to your manager • Following care plans, policies and safety standards What We Offer • Pay rates from €14.15 to €17.00 per hour and weekly fuel allowance • Guaranteed full-time hours • Paid induction training • Ongoing training and progression opportunities • Supportive, people-first work environment • Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year awards • Refer a Friend scheme Essential Requirements • Full clean driving licence • Access to your own vehicle • Eligibility to work in Ireland • Comfortable working independently in the community Required Training • QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person • Up-to-date Patient Moving and Handling (training provided if required) • International Police Clearance, where applicable Essential Competencies • Compassion, patience and empathy • Reliable, accountable and professional approach • Strong communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider care team • Previous care experience is desirable Right at Home is an equal opportunities employer.
