About the Role
We are retained by an established business in the building and construction sector seeking to appoint an experienced Non-Executive Director to strengthen its board. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned leader to bring independent oversight, strategic challenge and sector insight to a growing organisation at an important stage in its development.
The successful candidate will provide constructive challenge to the executive team, contribute to strategy and governance, and help guide the business through its next phase of growth. This is a genuine board appointment for someone who understands the commercial, regulatory and operational realities of the built environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide independent oversight and constructive challenge to the executive team
Contribute to the development and scrutiny of business strategy
Support strong governance, risk management and financial oversight at board level
Bring sector knowledge and an external perspective to board discussions
Act in the best interests of the company and its stakeholders, in line with directors' duties under the Companies Act 2006
