Description
My Money Matters is a leading financial health platform on a mission to help public sector workers make the most of their salary - through education and products like pension top-ups, on-demand pay and automated savings. Right now, 72% of public sector workers are just one bad month away from financial difficulty. We exist to change that. Through innovative financial products, education, and our digital money coach, we help people take control of their financial future, whether that’s buying their first home, boosting their pension, or planning for retirement. Already trusted by major organisations including the NHS, we’re growing quickly and building a team of ambitious, commercially minded people who want their work to genuinely matter. We're looking for New Business Account Executives to focus on net-new acquisition. You'll focus solely on new acquisition through pitching our My Money Matters financial wellbeing platform across the public sector, such as local government, NHS and education. You build it, pitch it, negotiate it and close it. We're open to recruiting multiple hires for this role, across a breadth of seniority and experience levels. Key Responsibilities - Own your sales cycle from pipeline generation through to closed contracts and deals. - You'll proactively prospect potential employers, ensuring you understand their workforce, financial wellbeing challenges and existing benefits to shape tailored pitches. - You'll deliver product demos and pitches positioning the value of our full financial wellbeing offering across a variety of public sector organisations. - Own commercial negotiations through to a signed contract, including contract terms and procurement requirements, with internal support. - Navigate public sector procurement frameworks and processes, managing multiple stakeholders through the full sales cycle. - Partner internally with Marketing and Product ensuring alignment to our value proposition, and providing a real-time constant feedback loop so we build features and propositions in line with demand. - Manage and forecast your pipeline accurately in HubSpot, ensuring that there is reliable visibility on your pipeline at all times, enabling effective customer management and reporting. - Ensuring a smooth handover to Onboarding and Customer Success, capturing everything to ensure implementation goes smoothly. - Represent My Money Matters at conferences, employer forums and promotional events to build pipeline and brand awareness. Skills & Experience - You've closed full-cycle new business deals, and can point to specific wins not just a general track record. - You've self-sourced your own pipeline and don't wait for leads to land in your inbox. - Experience in lead nurturing and generation, with the ability to identify and tailor your approach depending on individual employer needs and challenges. - The ability to run sales cycles of different lengths, staying sharp without losing momentum. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate across different seniority levels and stakeholder groups. - You can read a room of HR, Finance and Payroll stakeholders, each with their own motivations, and shift your pitch mid-meeting to address blockers or promoters. - You treat CRM updates and pipeline hygiene as part of winning, not just an admin task. It would be a bonus if you have: - Experience selling within the public sector to local government, NHS or education - Experience selling financial wellbeing, employee benefits, or payroll products Benefits 🇬🇧 Remote working within the UK Work remotely from anywhere in the UK, giving you flexibility to work where you perform at your best. 🖥️ Home office budget Receive a £200 annual budget to help you set up and improve your home working space. 🌴 Annual leave 25 days’ annual leave, increasing with tenure, plus the option to purchase up to 5 addition
