As a Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d), you are part of a team responsible for the technical planning and implementation of our local and global network architecture. For more than 45 years, DSA has been a leader in the development of innovative and customised communication solutions for vehicle electronics. With your expertise, you contribute to the continuous optimisation of our systems to ensure a secure, stable and powerful IT infrastructure at our global locations.
Your Tasks
• Working with the team, you are responsible for setting up global and local network infrastructures.
• You take on the administration of firewalls and switches as well as the provision of central network services such as LACP, MLAG, BGP, OSPF and VPN site-to-site.
• You contribute your technical expertise to the selection and introduction of new technologies in order to increase network performance and security (e.g. NAC, ZTNA, IPS, SD-WAN, VXLAN).
• You analyse and monitor existing network infrastructures, create reports and optimise their performance in complex environments.
• You maintain and expand the SAN and server infrastructures (Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-V).
• As part of your responsibilities, you work closely with the various locations and focus on the strategic development of the network infrastructure.
Your Profile
• You have successfully completed a training course or degree in computer science, business informatics or a related field.
• Ideally, you have an ITIL certification.
• You have in-depth knowledge of network technologies and several years of professional experience in similar positions.
• You have continuously followed the latest developments in modern technologies and best practices.
• You are familiar with monitoring, reporting and logging tools such as Zabbix or similar.
• With excellent organisational and time management skills, you work efficiently and accurately even under time pressure and high workloads.
• As an analytical person, you have strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• You work independently and at the same time value working in a team.
• With foresight, you drive projects forward and actively contribute new solutions.
• You are fluent in German and English.
