Position Type : Full-Time Salary:  $33.25 hourly (depending on experience) Work Location:  Full-time onsite Job Summary: Saalex is seeking an Engineering Technician IV to support network infrastructure, video transport systems, and field test operations at NSWC Corona. The selected candidate will independently perform complex technical assignments supporting the design, deployment, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of network systems. This position requires hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, IP camera systems, video transport technologies, and DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements. Essential Functions: Network Operations & Design: Assist in the design, deployment, and optimization of network infrastructure. Configure and manage routing and switching equipment, primarily Cisco routers and switches. Troubleshooting: Proactively identify, isolate, and resolve complex network connectivity, routing, switching, and communications issues in both garrison and field environments. Camera System Integration: Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP cameras and associated video streaming network infrastructure. Support H.264 and H.265 video transport technologies. Security Compliance: Ensure network devices and configurations adhere to DISA STIG requirements and Department of Defense security mandates. Field Support: Travel to test ranges to install equipment, conduct site surveys, and provide hands-on technical support during testing and operations. Provide technical guidance, documentation support, and coordination with engineers, technicians, and government stakeholders. Other duties as assigned or required.
