Our client is one of the UK's largest and most respected housing providers, managing thousands of homes across London, the South East and the North West. With a strong focus on customer service, community engagement and continuous improvement, they are committed to ensuring residents feel safe, supported and proud of where they live. They are now seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Housing Lead to join their Housing Management team on a temporary basis, covering the Bedfordshire patch. • Temporary Contract - 4 Months (FTC Cover) • £37,451 per annum equivalent - Negotiable DOE • Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 5:00pm • Reporting Office: Slough | Agile Working (60%-80% remote-based) The Role As a Neighbourhood Housing Lead, you'll take ownership of a designated patch of approximately 500–600 homes, acting as the primary point of contact for residents and ensuring they receive a responsive, consistent and high-quality housing management service. You'll build trusted relationships with residents, resolve tenancy and neighbourhood issues, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction and deliver positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Manage a designated neighbourhood patch, acting as the key contact for residents. • Build positive relationships and deliver an outstanding customer-focused housing management service. • Carry out estate, communal area and property inspections. • Manage tenancy matters including breaches, anti-social behaviour and safeguarding concerns. • Investigate neighbourhood issues including fly-tipping, parking, graffiti and environmental concerns. • Coordinate with internal departments, contractors and external agencies to resolve resident issues efficiently. • Respond to complaints, MP enquiries and stakeholder requests. • Complete tenancy audits, compliance actions and associated housing management responsibilities. • Represent the organisation at resident meetings and community forums. • Ensure residents' voices are heard and champion continuous service improvements. About You • Previous experience in a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer or similar Housing Management role. • Strong knowledge of tenancy management, neighbourhood management and resident engagement. • Experience managing anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches and complex resident cases. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • The ability to manage a varied workload while meeting deadlines. • A proactive, resilient and solution-focused approach. • Experience building positive relationships with residents and partner organisations. • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes. • A Basic DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
