We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Dimensional/Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector to join our team at our Darwen location. As an NDT Inspector here, you will be an integral part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your role will involve conducting various non-destructive tests on materials and components, ensuring the reliability and integrity of our products. Responsibilities • Conduct non-destructive tests, including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant inspections • Interpret and analyse test results, providing insights into the quality and integrity of materials or structures • Collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams to address and resolve identified issues • Perform visual inspections and accurately document findings • Ensure strict compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and WEC Group policies • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability • Generate detailed reports outlining inspection findings and providing recommendations Knowledge, Skills, Experience • Previous experience as an Dimensional/NDT Inspector or Similar • Certification in relevant NDT methods (Level II) is mandatory. • Proficient in interpreting codes, standards, and specifications related to NDT within Welding • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and procedures • Comfortable carrying out dimensional inspections of Complex Fabrications
