Description

You'll be involved in servicing and supporting a wide range of vessels, from large commercial ships to high-end luxury yachts, with access to ongoing technical training and development to help expand your expertise. Working with market-leading marine systems and equipment, you'll receive the backing and technical support needed to carry out your role with confidence.
The position offers a varied workload, with opportunities to work independently as well as alongside experienced engineers, delivering high-quality service and engineering solutions across a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities
• VDR-APTs
• Radio Surveys
• Installation, repair and maintaining GMDSS Equipment
• Installation, repair and maintaining Navigational equipment
• Installation, repair and maintaining VSAT Satellite Broadband
• Working on Retrofit projects completing whole bridge installs and large system integrations
Requirements
• Good standard at a higher level HNC/ONC/NVQ Level or equivalent national standard education
• Preferably a skill base education/qualification with an I.T/ Engineering based
• Current Driving Licence
• Able to pass marine/offshore worker medical examination
• Valid Passport
• 3+ Years of Marine Service Engineer experience
• In-depth knowledge of electronic/electrical engineering
• GMDSS Radio Operator / Maintainer License preferred
