I am a CNM Nutritional Therapist and I currently have a cancer client who I am supporting with a therapeutic ketogenic diet as part of her overall healthcare team. My client has done well with this shift but is finding the food prep side of things a challenge and would welcome some help. Help could either be someone local to her (she is in Exeter, Devon), or someone who is set up to prep and send either fresh or frozen foods. It does not have to be a ‘full’ meal plan service although she is open to that if affordable; it could be augmenting what she can do for herself with meals / snacks, or part-prepared foods that make prep easier for her. We are open to creative suggestions rather than having a fixed view of how ‘help’ needs to be structured. I will provide guidance on macros and yes/no foods to support her overall treatment plan, and can also contribute recipe ideas if that is helpful. I work with other cancer clients who have similar challenges, so whilst there are no guarantees, I may have others looking for this kind of help in the future.
