Description
The National Board Certified Educator Fellowship is a two-year cohort for experienced, culturally relevant teachers interested in rigorous learnings to grow in their craft and impact by pursuing National Board Certification. In community with like-valued educators, participants will enrich their leadership impact to accelerate change in their classroom and, ultimately, the positive change needed within their school communities. Coaching and workshops to deepen their knowledge of content and pedagogy will be led by a National Board-Certified educator. Fellows will use the knowledge gleaned to support submission of a high-quality National Board Certification portfolio. The TeachMichigan definition of a high impact teacher linked below is a critical tool utilized in the selection process and programming.
