A warm and welcoming family based in Oxfordshire are looking for an experienced, nurturing Nanny to care for their two young children aged 1 and 3 years old. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career nanny with a strong educational background, who is passionate about supporting early years development through engaging, age-appropriate learning and play. The role can be offered on either a live-in or live-out basis. As the family’s Nanny, you will take sole charge of the children’s day-to-day care, creating a fun, stimulating and educational environment that encourages their development and independence. The family are particularly keen to find someone with a background in Early Years, nursery education or teaching, who naturally incorporates learning opportunities into everyday activities.Duties will include planning engaging developmental activities, supporting key milestones, preparing healthy meals for the children, organising their bedrooms and play areas, managing their laundry, and taking them to local classes, outings and activities. You will work closely with the parents to ensure consistency in routines and support the children as they continue to grow and flourish.This is a long-term position with a lovely family who value professionalism, warmth and initiative, offering either a live-in or live-out arrangement for the right candidate.Candidate specification: Previous professional nanny experience caring for children of a similar age. A strong background in Early Years education, nursery settings, EYFS or teaching is essential. Passionate about child development and creating educational, engaging activities. Warm, patient and nurturing, with a calm and positive approach. Confident working independently and able to use your initiative. Organised, proactive and reliable. Happy to support with all nursery duties. Full driving licence preferred due to the rural location. Happy to commit to a long-term position with the family. Excellent references and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
