About the role:
We are actively recruiting for a Music Teacher to join a Secondary School in the Bourne area on a part-time basis starting in September 2026. Full-time hours can be considered for the right candidate. This is a rewarding opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic teacher to inspire students through performance, composition, and appreciation of music across a broad curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages
• Support students in developing performance and composition skills
• Encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression
• Prepare students for assessments and musical performances
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
Pre-requisites:
•
Previous experience teaching Music at secondary level
•
Relevant teaching qualification
•
Strong practical and theoretical music knowledge
•
Ability to engage and inspire young musicians
•
Effective classroom management skills
• Provide two education/school based references from the last two years
