Music & Digital Technology Tutor (SEMH) Fridays Only East London September Start Are you an experienced Music & Digital Technology Tutor looking for a rewarding role within an SEMH setting?
Remedy Education are working with a specialist school to recruit a Music & Digital Technology Tutor to teach every Friday from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with secondary-aged students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, delivering engaging music production sessions whilst supporting students working towards recognised qualifications.
The Role
• Every Friday (1 day per week).
• Deliver Music & Digital Technology lessons to small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
• Support students working towards accredited music qualifications.
• Use industry-standard software including Logic Pro , Cubase and Apple music production systems.
• Create an engaging, practical learning environment for young people with SEMH needs.
Essential Requirements
• Previous experience working within an SEMH or Alternative Provision setting.
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Logic Pro , Cubase and other music production software.
• Experience delivering or supporting accredited music qualifications.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
• Instrument knowledge.
• Teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience with trauma-informed practice.
