Area Science Park invites motivated researchers with a strong track record to prepare joint applications for the 2026 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships to be carried out at the Virology Unit .
The Virology Unit at Area Science Park, with its expertise in performing experiments in BSL2 and BSL3 , focuses on studies in molecular virology, phenotypic investigation of mutations in viral proteins, and innovative tools for preventing viral infections.
Possible research topics include Flavivirus , Coronavirus and other families, vaccine design , development of antiviral peptides and monoclonal antibodies , investigation of interactions between viral and cellular proteins .
Area Science Park offers an interdisciplinary environment, advanced research infrastructures, and a unique ecosystem integrating public research, companies, startups, and innovation centres. Candidates will also benefit from dedicated MSCA support services throughout the entire project lifecycle.
