GOODLIFE   KIDS   FOUNDATION – MOVE COACH IMPORTANT  – This position is an employment opportunity with   GoodLife   Kids Foundation and not GoodLife Fitness. MOVE by GoodLife Kids GoodLife Kids Foundation (GLKF) enables and supports kids and youth with autism and intellectual disabilities through physical activity and fitness. Our vision is that all kids and youth with autism and intellectual disabilities experience the joys and benefits of being active. The MOVE by GoodLife Kids program is a   free   physical activity and fitness program for youth ages 12 – 21 years with autism and intellectual disabilities .    MOVE by GoodLife Kids Program class runs In Person and   Virtually across   Canada up to three times per week. MOVE Classes incorporate social time, workouts, dancing, and mental wellness. This posting is for an in-person class launching in October 2026, that will be delivered at a GoodLife Fitness Club. What is a MOVE Coach? Each  MOVE Coach   is responsible for   coaching and delivering exceptional fitness programming for the MOVE by GoodLife Kids program, through adaptive and progressive workouts . You will play an important   role   helping   with the continued development of this national program. You will provide input and recommendations as to what works for your Participants and try out recommendations from the rest of the coaching team. GLKF will provide training on how to support youth with disabilities – if you have a passion for helping EVERYBODY live a fit and healthy good life, this could be the job for you! What will you be doing? • Lead and deliver an exceptional fitness program for youth with autism and intellectual disabilities through coaching,   instruction   and facilitation to ensure a positive and impactful experience for all. • Collaborating with other MOVE Coaches   and Supervisors   when discovering best practices . • Create and develop workout plans that meet programming guidelines of MOVE by GoodLife Kids   to   support the needs of the Participants . • Build and   maintain   positive relationships with MOVE Participants and our Community Partners . • Respond to MOVE Participants and   Caregiver   feedback   and concerns. • This role   will   primarily   lead   in-person classes with the opportunity to be involved with our virtual programming as needed . • Represent GoodLife Kids Foundation in a professional, positive, caring, and friendly manner Do you   have   what it takes? • Passion for working with youth with disabilities . • Experience delivering fitness classes . • Able to deliver in-person classes • Reliable transportation. • Must have or being willing to obtain a current nationally recognized Group Fitness /Coaching certification such as Fitness Instructor Specialist (FIS)/Personal Training Specialist (PTS). • Must have a current CPR-A certification. • Ability to   establish   and maintain professional working relationships with Participants and MOVE Community Partners . • Access to reliable internet connection that supports uninterrupted video conferencing . • A proactive, flexible, and adaptable mindset Location & Availability Location:    Windsor Dougall &   Cabana   GoodLife   Fitness   (   3920   Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9G 1X2) Availability: • Tuesday   7:00 pm -8:00pm • Saturday   12:00 pm -1:00pm Accommodations GoodLife Kids Foundation is committed to creating an inclusive environment for   all of   our applicants. Compensation: The selected candidate will start at a base wage of $35.00 for their class hours. In addition, there will be further hours for administration at a base wage of $17.60. The expected annual total compensation is $5,700 determined by the expected total number of scheduled hours per year. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
