We’re always on the lookout for passionate interns to join our Motion Capture Department , where you’ll dive into a wide range of exciting projects and gain hands-on experience in motion capture performances and bringing these performances to life. Based in Frankfurt, Germany, the studio combines deep experience with custom production workflows to deliver consistently stunning results. Trusted by industry leaders like 2K Games, DONTNOD, EA, Epic Games, Guerrilla Games, THQ Nordic , and many more, metricminds continues to set the standard in performance-driven animation. About the role : As an Intern , you’ll get hands-on experience in data post-processing and join us right on the capture stage , helping record everything from dynamic character locomotion to full-performance capture . You’ll be part of bringing entire scenes to life , complete with multiple actors, custom-built props, and detailed environment recreations. Responsibilities: • Create motion captured animation content for a variety of clients and projects, ranging from indie projects up to AAA games • Clean-Up and post-production of captured animations, using our custom workflows • Capture actor performances on our mocap stage Requirements: • A genuine passion for animation and games • Eagerness to learn and constantly improve yourself • Team player with strong collaboration skills • Ability to communicate well in English , both written and verbal. • Internship duration of 6 months • Willingness to relocate to Frankfurt, Germany • E ligible to work within the European Union Preferred: • Knowledge of motion capture technology and procedures • Solid animation knowledge • Technical understanding with the ability and desire to solve problems when they arise Timeframe: Our next availability for this position includes 1–2 openings starting in March 2027, with a duration of six months until the end of August 2027.
