The Intake MOT Nurse is responsible for ensuring appropriate level of patient care and to assess the needs of walk-ins and phone callers to best address their need(s). Daily duties include: Preform Nursing Assessments for inpatient and outpatient programs. Cross train other MOT RNs. Participate in medical emergencies. Conduct clinical assessments. Medication Management. Accurate documentation and calls. Team leadership skills. Crisis intervention. Health education to patients/families. Requirements Licensure : Licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing Education: Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program Experience : 1 year experience in Intake Behavioral health. Certifications : CPR/SAMA must be attained within 30 days of your hire date. Skills : Able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
