Job Description Experienced Mortgage Administrator (Hybrid Role) – Southend Office BDM Recruitment is excited to represent a well-established mortgage broker firm in Southend, Essex, seeking a talented and experienced Mortgage Administrator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment to play a key role in supporting their team of whole-of-market mortgage brokers. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement with the potential to work from home a couple of days a week, while also collaborating with colleagues in the dynamic Southend office. Responsibilities (Mortgage Administrator – Southend Office): • Act as the first point of contact for clients, chasing outstanding information and providing regular updates. • Maintain strong communication with mortgage lenders, ensuring timely processing of applications. • Thoroughly review and verify all documentation before submission to lenders. • Manage a personal pipeline of 15-20 new mortgage cases per month (average). • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team of mortgage brokers. Essential Skills: • Previous experience as a Mortgage Administrator is essential. • Strong understanding of the mortgage process and relevant regulations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working in the Essex area is preferred.
