Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team in Oudenaarde. As a  Mold Technician , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of molds used in production. Key Responsibilities: Independently assemble, disassemble, and maintain molds  to ensure they are production-ready. Repair hydraulic cylinders  and create flexible hoses for hydraulic and gas applications. Conduct fine mechanical work and apply simple sandblast structures. Diagnose and propose technical improvements  for defective molds. Occasionally engage in turning, milling, and grinding tasks with training provided when necessary. Profile Description The ideal candidate for the  Mold Technician  role possesses: A Bachelor’s degree in electromechanics or an A2 in mechanics with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in a production environment, especially in machining operations such as turning, grinding, and milling. Strong technical insight and a passion for mechanics. Basic knowledge of electricity. Resilience under pressure and willingness to work in a two-shift system after the training period. Good knowledge of English or Dutch.
