• Modern Thyroid Clinic- Medical Assistant Medical Assistant (Full-Time, W-2) We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting patients, working closely with healthcare providers, and managing both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Position Details • Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2 • Schedule: • Monday – Friday • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (flexible) • 30-minute lunch break Key Responsibilities • Process prescription refill requests as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance • Prepare and maintain patient charts by accurately updating information in the electronic health records (EHR) system • Monitor and respond to patient portal messages with professionalism and compassion • Coordinate communication between patients and providers to ensure clear and timely information exchange • Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing documentation Compensation • $22 per hour during the initial 90-day (or less) probationary period • $24 per hour following a successful 90-day performance review Benefits (After 90-Day Probationary Period) • Health insurance through Aetna • 6 days of paid time off (PTO) • 3 sick days • 8 paid holidays Qualifications • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred • Strong organizational and communication skills • Comfort working with EHR systems and patient portals • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Patient-focused, reliable, and detail-oriented If you’re passionate about patient care and looking for a supportive, professional work environment, we’d love to hear from you.
