Our client — a global, prestige roadside assistance provider — is looking for a skilled Roadside Technician, covering Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Whether you currently work as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Mechanic, Diagnostic Technician or Service Technician, this is a standout opportunity to take your skills out of the workshop and into a well-supported, high-earning mobile role. Salary: £35,000 OTE £44,000 Hours: Flexible shift patterns available Why you’ll love this role • Company Pension • 33 Annual leave days • Discount on vehicles • Learning and Development Opportunities • Home-based role with no fixed workshop — your van is your workspace • Excellent basic salary with strong OTE and additional location allowance • Work for a globally recognised prestige brand with exceptional standards • Variety in your day — every job is different, no repetitive workshop routines • Ongoing manufacturer-level training and investment in your development • High-quality tools, equipment and fully equipped service vehicle provided • Strong benefits package including pension, life assurance and private medical cover What you’ll be doing (and doing brilliantly) • Attending roadside breakdowns as directed by the Operations Centre • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently at the roadside • Maximising first-time fix rates using provided tools, equipment and training • Updating the Operations Centre with outcomes and next steps for each job • Delivering a calm, professional and reassuring customer experience • Maintaining your service vehicle, tools and stock to a high standard • Providing technical support by phone when required • Completing all job documentation, warranty and goodwill procedures accurately What we’re looking for • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Automotive Technician • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) • Strong diagnostic ability with a methodical, logical approach to fault finding • Confident working independently while still being a strong team player • Excellent customer service skills and a professional manner • Full UK Category B driving licence (maximum 6 points) • Comfortable working flexible shift patterns Sound like you?
