Join us in this exciting journey and help us shape the future of social interactions! ABOUT THIS ROLE: At Yubo, design has a real seat at the table. It leads squads in partnership with Product Management and Engineering, shaping strategy and decisions from ideation all the way to delivery, with direct and visible impact on both the product and the business. We're precisely looking for a Mobile Product Designer to co-lead one of our Product Squad. This is a highly strategic role where you'll help shape product strategy, design experiments, and deliver end-to-end product initiatives focused on impacting growth, retention, and monetization across a product used by millions of users. You'll spend time understanding user behaviour, exploring solutions, validating ideas, and refining experiences based on real-world data, all for the sake of shipping quality experiences. We don’t expect everything to be perfect from the get-go though, so expect iteration at every occasion! This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys balancing product thinking with strong craft, and who wants their work to have a visible impact on business outcomes and user experience alike. YOUR RESPONSIBILITES - Lead product design projects from discovery through delivery and post-launch iteration - Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Brand Marketing, Data Analysts, Legal and Trust&Safety to solve meaningful user problems - Contribute to product strategy, experimentation, and roadmap discussions - Design mobile-first experiences across iOS and Android with strong attention to usability, accessibility, and visual quality - Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into thoughtful product experiences - Use analytics, feedback and competitive insights to formulate design decisions - Create prototypes and test concepts to validate ideas quickly - Help evolve and maintain Yubo's design system and contribute to design consistency across the product - Advocate for high-quality user experiences while remaining pragmatic about delivery and iteration TOOLS WE USE: - Figma - Amplitude - Notion - Enterpret - Slack - AI tooling: Dust, Claude Code / Codex (prototyping & daily workflow) WHO YOU ARE: - You have 3-4+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally within consumer mobile applications - You are comfortable owning projects from problem definition through launch - You combine strong visual design skills with solid product thinking - You know how to use data, research, and user feedback to guide decisions - You can communicate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - You enjoy collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams - You are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can evolve - You have the conviction to make bold design calls and defend them - You design with the user at the center - Experience with social, community, social discovery, gaming, or consumer subscr
