This role is ideal for groomers who enjoy working independently, take pride in their craft, and want to provide personalized, one-on-one care in a fully equipped mobile salon. Compensation & Benefits High earning potential with competitive commissions and 100% of your tips Flexible scheduling: full-time, part-time, weekdays, or weekends Modern, well-equipped mobile grooming van Dedicated support team handling scheduling, routing, client communication, and billing Independence in the field with the backing of a trusted Woofie’s brand 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions Role Requirements Professionalism & Reliability Strong time and life management for consistent, on-time attendance Flexible and attentive to client needs and preferences Clear, friendly communication with pet parents and team members Commitment to high-quality work, compassionate care, and outstanding client service Grooming Experience Minimum 1 year of professional dog grooming experience Mobile grooming experience is helpful but not required Confidence working with all breeds, sizes, coat types, and temperaments Skilled in comprehensive grooming services, including bathing, trimming, nail and ear care, de-shedding, teeth brushing, and specialty treatments Animal Care & Handling Gentle, patient handling style focused on safety and comfort Ability to adapt each session to the dog’s needs, temperament, and comfort level Confident supporting anxious, senior, or special-needs dogs with extra care and patience Driving & Equipment Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Comfortable driving and operating a mobile grooming van Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workspace Smartphone for scheduling and communication systems Key Responsibilities Safely drive and operate a Woofie’s mobile pet salon throughout the service area Provide high-quality grooming tailored to each pet Communicate clearly with clients before and after appointments Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the van Deliver a consistent 5-star experience for pets and their owners This job offers a rewarding way to build strong relationships with pets and their families while providing high-quality, stress-free grooming in a modern mobile spa setting.
