Mobile Applications Engineer – React Native (hybrid) Initially known for the Ziosk tableside tablet, our team has developed a portfolio of products thoughtfully designed for the restaurant technology space for over 15 years. With devices in multiple U.S. restaurant locations, we are continually expanding our services. Key clients include Chili’s. Yard House, Olive Garden, Red Robin, and Texas Roadhouse. Ziosk is looking for a Mobile Applications Engineer with React Native experience to develop applications on mobile and Ziosk devices. You will be working on a team that is implementing intuitive and engaging products that highlight the unique capabilities for Ziosk’s restaurant brand partners. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with attention to detail and the ability to establish and manage priorities in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities (hybrid)
• Develop mobile applications using React Native, first for Android devices and later for IOS.
• Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application development best practices within our organization.
• Develop compelling and user-friendly applications and user interfaces that enhance the Ziosk guest experience.
• Work with Scrum and Agile development processes.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing software applications
• JavaScript (ES6, TypeScript)
• JavaScript framework for web/mobile
• js
• React Native
• REST APIs
• JSON Web Tokens
• University degree in software engineering or computer science
Preferred Qualifications
• React
• Android Studio
• C++ and Kotlin knowledge is a plus
