Pertemps Wolverhampton Temps seeks an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator for a full-time, temp-to-perm position in Willenhall. Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, you will join a manufacturing team focused on conveyor systems. Your duties involve MIG welding and fabricating new conveyors, plus repairing and refurbishing existing production machinery. You must read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. The hourly rate ranges from £16.00 to £18.00, reflecting the skilled nature of this work. This role offers long-term stability within a well-established business. MIG Welder & Fabricator – Temp to Perm Location: Willenhall Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour Contract: Temp to Perm through Pertemps Wolverhampton Pertemps Wolverhampton is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced MIG Welder & Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing team based in Willenhall. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering long-term stability with a well-established business. The successful candidate will be involved in the manufacture, repair, and refurbishment of conveyor systems for production machinery. Key Responsibilities MIG welding and fabrication of conveyor systems and production machinery. Building new conveyors and repairing existing conveyor equipment. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Setting out materials and fabricating components to specification. Cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding steel components. Using fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety. Experience RequiredApplicants should be confident using and working with: Industrial MIG welding equipment. Cutting and profiling machinery, including CNC plasma or laser cutters. Horizontal bandsaws for cutting structural steel. Hydraulic ironworkers for punching and shearing. Hydraulic press brakes for bending sheet metal. Plate rollers for forming curved sections. Basic TIG welding (advantageous but not essential). Drill presses and milling machines. Angle grinders and belt sanders for preparation and finishing. Measuring equipment and general fabrication tools. Candidate Requirements Previous experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Confident in setting out fabrication work independently. Excellent MIG welding and fabrication skills. Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence preferred. What We Offer £16.00 to £18.00 per hour. Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
