Hours of Work Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm Early finish every Friday Full-time hours Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate The Role As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components while working from engineering drawings and specifications. You will be working with a variety of metals in a busy fabrication environment, ensuring all work meets quality standards. Duties Include MIG and TIG welding to a high standard Welding aluminium, zinc, stainless steel, mild steel and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals Fabricating and assembling metal components Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Producing both bespoke and batch work Grinding, linishing and finishing welded products Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are met Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Following health and safety procedures at all times Candidate Requirements Previous experience as a MIG/TIG Welder Experience welding aluminium is essential Experience working with zinc, stainless steel, mild steel and other metals is highly desirable Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Good attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work Able to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual and committed to long-term work Successful candidates will be required to complete an on-site practical MIG/TIG weld test as part of the interview process. Only applicants who successfully pass the weld test will be considered for the position.
