Description
Help make the world more hospitable
The hospitality industry is uniquely human, and it deserves technology that’s just as inspiring as the people behind it. At Mews, we’re transforming the industry with a platform that helps hotels run smarter, move faster and create better guest experiences.
You’ll work with smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do. You’ll have autonomy and the trust to make good decisions and move quickly. And you’ll enjoy a real sense of purpose as you see the impact of what we’re building.
If you’re motivated by ownership, curiosity and meaningful impact, and are driven to deliver consistent high performance, you’ll feel at home here.
About the role
Let's get into the specifics. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it into a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this: You'll own a defined segment of the AAHOA partnership — hotel groups and properties with 150+ rooms, spanning multiple regional markets — and carry a meaningful quota doing it. The AAHOA community represents one of the most concentrated and underserved segments in US hospitality: ownership groups making long-term infrastructure choices, where the right commercial relationship at the right time creates outsized returns. Mews is building that presence, and this role is central to it.
What you would do
As the commercial owner of this segment, you'll develop and execute a regional strategy from the ground up — not inheriting a warm book, but building the pipeline, relationships, and playbook that makes this segment a core part of Mews' US growth. You'll work across the full sales motion: net-new acquisition, land-and-expand with early customers, and multi-stakeholder pursuit management across ownership groups, GMs, finance, and operations.
On a typical week, you might be running 8–10 progressed opportunities at various stages, logging 120+ targeted prospecting activities into Salesforce-segmented ICP, hosting demos and product deep-dives with hotel operators, building forecast reviews, or representing Mews at an AAHOA event. Average deal value runs €3–5k+ MRR, with a roughly six-month cycle from first touch to signature — meaning your pipeline discipline and deal quality matter as much as your close rate.
The role also has a community dimension that's unusual for an AE position. AAHOA members operate within a close-knit network, and success here comes from being a credible, respected presence inside that community — not just a vendor showing up at conferences.
What you would bring
Deep hospitality knowledge and experience
Fluency in Gujarati and English — strongly preferred for this role, given the community you'll be building relationships within
A well-developed network within the AAHOA community, or a clear and credible path to building one quickly
The ability to run multi-threaded pursuits across ownership groups and on-property operators, tailoring your approach to GMs, finance teams, IT, and C-suite stakeholders within the same deal
Pipeline rigour: the ability and desire to build precise forecasts, track deal health, run win/loss reviews, and use data to determine where to invest time and which deals to advance
Comfort operating in an environment that's still evolving — where you'll develop plays, contribute insights to GTM peers, and help shape what the AAHOA go-to-market looks like, not just execute a finished playbook
You use AI as a genuine part of your workflow — applying it to prospecting, pipeline review, deal prep, or wherever it makes your work more effective
Nice to have
Experience representing a SaaS company at industry events or within a trade association community
Familiarity with Salesforce as a CRM and forecasting tool
A track record of hitting and exceeding quota in a comp
