Main Purposes of Role : • To work with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health Key Accountabilities: • To provide various outpatient mental health services with the goal of patient recovery • To conduct intakes and monitor individual, group and family therapies • To develop service plans and conduct reviews as needed through the duration of treatment • To complete and maintain documentation according to HIPAA compliant guidelines • To maintain appointment schedule and appropriate case notes in Theranest • To attend case conferences and collaborate with other mental health providers or educational institutions • To submit documentation regarding regulatory paperwork (i.e., CPAM) in a timely manner • To attend regular meetings with your supervisor • To participate in community based mental health initiatives • To participate in continuing education Personal Specifications: Qualifications ·        Master’s degree, or higher, in Psychology, Counseling or related field ·        Must be registered with the Cayman Islands Council for Professions Allied with Medicine (CPAM) ·        Must be licensed in your home country in the area of psychology, clinical social work, or related field Experience ·        Substantial and successful experience supporting individuals with a wide range of abilities and needs ·        At least 5 years clinical experience Skills/ Qualities ·        Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines ·        Maintains the confidentiality of privileged information ·        Maintains acceptable attendance record and is punctual ·        Ability to gather, analyze and interpret data for effective target setting ·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ·        Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and provide support through coaching Disposition ·        Commitment to carry out the mission and vision of Hope Academy ·        To be interested in young people, how they learn and in developing ways of removing barriers to learning ·        To believe in the importance of team work and a collaborative approach ·        To maintain a warm and approachable manner towards staff and students
