Contract type: Permanent / Working hours: Flexible Location: Varying sites, Across Wiltshire South West Wildlife Fundraising Ltd (SWWFL,) working on behalf of Wiltshire Wildlife Trust (WWT), is seeking new Membership Recruiters to represent WWT at pre-booked venues and events, inspiring people to join and pledge a monthly direct debit donation - making a vital difference for wildlife. As one of our Membership Recruiters, you will represent Wiltshire Wildlife Trust at pre-booked venues and events, inspiring people to join and pledge a monthly direct debit donation - making a vital difference for wildlife. Job Details Job title: Membership Recruiter Contract type: Permanent, subject to the successful completion of a probationary period of up to 3 months. Salary: Enhanced rate of £14 per hour during 3-month probationary period, (or until signed off) for field-based working, then £13 per hour. Average earnings of £21+ per hour including uncapped commission & bonus. Reports into: Membership Sales Manager. Line reports: No staff management but may work alongside other SWWFL employees and Wildlife Trust employees and volunteers. Key Responsibilities • Engage members of the public in private and public site locations to promote the work of WWT and introduce the benefits of membership • Sign-up members and complete and return all relevant membership information, maintaining high standards of data protection at all times • Build good relationships with local venues and increase the likelihood of return • Keep up to date with Wildlife Trust activities Key Requirements • Engaging, resilient personality, motivated to help wildlife • Conversation starter, with experience in sales, fundraising or promotions a bonus but not a requirement (full training is provided) • Full driving license and access to a car Benefits • Flexible part-time or full-time daytime hours • Enhanced rate of £13/hour during probation (then £12.50/hr) OR total of commission earned, whichever is higher, across the pay period.
